Hitch is an ideal place that combines main men’s passions – first class steaks and Belgian craft beer. New restaurant at Petrogradskaya side differ by scale – it has 2 floors, a massive grill that weights 2 tons (meat is cooked on an open fire), its own bakery and a children’s play room on the second floor.
Interior design exaggeratedly brutal – leather sofa seats, big wooden tables on a first floor and a marble one on the second. Soon to come two large TV’s for sports broadcast viewing and a children’s play room. Apart from that we regularly hold gastronomic dinners and tastings.
Hitch steakhouse is made to satisfy even primitive hunger. Headliner of the menu, of course, is meat - from young bulls from the Bryansk region. It is presented in all varieties: classic tartar, juicy rib-eye steak, carpaccio according to the own recipe of the brand chef Ilya Bournasov, extraordinary flank, flat iron, machete and other local specialties for real men's appetites. HITCH-burger with a juicy cutlet, stuffed cabbage with marbled beef and minced beef steak with poached egg are among the top sellers.
We take special pride in our restaurant about our dry-aged steaks, which are aged for a month in a special cupboard, after which they get a special rich taste and juiciness during cooking.
Hitchnik’s morning is a croissant with roast beef and lightly salted cucumbers, a steak with scrambled eggs or a rye toast with avocado and smoked salmon. Breakfast is served in the restaurant from 9 AM till 1 PM and until 3 PM on the weekends. In our own bakery we bake baguettes and ciabatta, rye and rye-wheat bread on thick sourdough. We use only natural ingredients: naturally fermented yeast, seeds and cereals. Flour - peeled (including the shell of the grain) which is a healthier choice for the body than the flour of the highest grade. Bread can be ordered to eat in the restaurant or to take away.
Tartar, rack of lamb or minced steak - for any dish in the menu we find you a perfect wine pair. In the Hitch restaurant you can taste rare and exclusive wines, for example, from the region of the DoCG Cerasuolo di Vittoria. Hitch’s beer menu includes 12 varieties of different Belgian beers and about 30 varieties of bottled beer from all around the world. Behind the bar we pour the tender lager "Gordon Five", light abbey ale "Affligem" with a hint of bitterness, ‘Bourgogne des Flandres’ aged in Porto wine barrels and several varieties of fruit beer.
